Where do you meet the divine reaching out between the lines and into your life?

yoga
I started doing yoga as part of my work-outs.  It was about stretching, toning, and strengthening my body.  But as I've become more familiar with the positions and flowing between them yoga has begun to open up into a spiritual exercise for me.

I used funnel mudra to begin a recent full moon ritual.  Sinking back into anjali mudra I settled into my breathing.  As I watched the words and worries fly across my mind 3 answers came to me that have influenced my behavior in the months since.  It's continued that way in recent weeks.  Through breathing exercises, poses, mudras & mantras, I'm receiving insight that shapes my life.

You know that question "What would you be doing if you weren't too _______ (scared, logical, preoccupied...)?  Jen answered it and now she's traveling, working with other women, sharing stories and photos.

It's an answer that came to her over time and you'll see how when you pore over month after month of gorgeous heartfelt blog entries.  Beautiful, thoughtful, inviting entries, that ultimately challenge me with the question, "What would I be doing if I weren't afraid to, worried about money, second guessing my abilities & my calling, underestimating my relationships...?  I don't need to make an answer right now.  I do need to be opening to the question again & again.  Holding a quiet little room for it in my heart.  One day I'll visit that room and meet my answer and we'll start our new adventure together.

talismans
The little mother pendant is an abundance goddess.  I wear her to remember that there is enough.  The tree of life was a serendipitous find at the local street market.  I wear it to fend off the gnawing little critters of self-doubt.  One more piece, not pictured here, is a necklace made of moonstone beads.  I call it my necklace of power and wear it on the days when I especially need to reach a little deeper to stand a little taller - for myself, for others, or simply for what is right.
