Upper Room

How do you play with God?

In To the Attic, I write about my spiritual director Cora.  Cora had turned one of the upper rooms of her house into a studio-chapel-playroom and hosted me there on rainy days. Under the steeply slanted roof we'd play with God, like a Montessori class for the spirit.  We made art, played with tarot cards & crystals, and sat quietly listening to the rhythm of raindrops.  This page is a continuation of playing in Cora's upper room.

I'll be stocking the shelves up here ongoing.  For each practice or form of play that is described here I'll include links to blog postings where I write about the experience(s) of doing it.  I'll also invite friends up here to share how they "play with God."
